Sleeper train from Rome to Venice. Sleeper may be a misnomer: we were only on the train for six hours and it was quite noisy, but we were so exhausted from our day at the Vatican that we both slept better than we expected to. We are off on a tour of the Chianti region on Thursday and then pick up a car for 2 days travelling around Tuscany and the famous outlet stores.
