We were planning to go to Liechtenstein but thought we may as well as it was sort of on our way. It's the worlds 6 smallest country so it would have been rude not to go..haha.
We didn't drive to the main town but to another.. where really there wasn't anything. I did get a photo with the tourist sign though. Had to somehow prove I'd been there!
... quick sites and then jumped back to Switzerland, crossed through Austria for an hour or so, and bam, were back in Germany, hehe....
Now I'm at Sebastian's brother's house, where we will go to sleep soon and visit München tomorrow...
abrazos!

After a week in Basel we jumped on the train to visit my Uncle and Aunt (Heinz and Elsa) in Gossau – a small town in the north east of Switzerland. On the way we spent a few hours in Zurich where we just wandered around the city centre, had lunch and sat by the lake. Heinz and Elsa met us at the train station and walked us back to their place – about 2 minutes away! They took us for a drive up to a place which gives a great view over St Gallen ...
Gossau, St. Gallen, Switzerland benanna... Feldkirch I got lost. Actually I was just trying to get to McDonald's because the group wanted a bathroom break and the public toilets here were not to our standards. Anyway, I drove past the McDonald's twice - once my fault and once the navigator's - and drove down a pedestrian only section of road before we gave up and continued on our journey out of town and deeper into Austria.

We walked around the abbey exterior before everyone went inside, with the exception of Lincoln and I. I have been here before and know it is a very ornate baroque design inside.
Next, we walked to the abbey library which houses the largest medieval collection of books in the world, basically. There was an admission to go in and my ...
A mixture of sun and clouds this morning, it is still warm out and no dew on the grass.
We are off to the Bodensee. It is a nice drive through the countryside. When we get close we see some camping signs but go into Friedrichshafen to the tourist information office and find where the campgrounds and grocery stores are.
We pick up some groceries, go to the ...
... our Hohenschwangau Castle tour guide to begin. It wasn't until about 30 minutes later and a protest on my part that we realized that Daylight Savings time had become effective since that morning, and our weary watches had not been synched. So when we thought we had awoken at 8am we had actually done so at 7am. No wonder. With another 30 ...
Fussen, Germany zento... Gottlieben, Switzerland. One of Rick's business associates had made reservations for us at the Hotel Drachenburg. Quite a nice place! Our room seemed very French with a bidet and a chaise lounge. We had lunch there and had dinner with Helmut. I don't have the name of the restaurant, but we had possibly the best poached salmon ever!!
