... as we arrived at boarder of Austria/ Czech Republic. Arrived in this UNESCO world heritage site @ 10.30 after a short break the border. Weather was overcast & coolish for what we have been experiencing but perfect for travelling. Yes is a beautiful place as with so many places we have visited so far. My only grumble wad the cobbled streets but it added to the atmosphere. Instead of looking up I was watching where I walked. ...

Today we had a cruisie morning. Woke at 8:30 (needed the rest), breakfasted, watched some Greys Anatomy, checked out. Then we mozzied around the village of Cesky Krumlov. Had a delicious lunch at the hotel receptionist recommendation. Cost $15 aud each. Grilled Camembert, soup, pancake dessert. The dessert wasn't nice so we had some very very tasty crepes. Apples and cinnamon with icecream, and a white chocolate hot choccie - ...

I am going to try to make this post very short as I just got back from my spring break and have a lot to talk about. Over a week ago, I went with ISA on an excursion to the village of Cesky Krumlov, about a 2 hour drive south of Prague. Cesky Krumlov is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site and it is amazing to see. It looks like it is still stuck back in time. Walking around the old cobblestone streets, admiring the castle, and ...

... they go - but in Cesky it was just insane! After a look around a poke about in a few shops I headed home for a quiet and early night - such a nana when left to my own devices!
The next morning I stepped out onto the terrace at the back of my hostel that overlooks the river and was greeted with a think fog. I started to wonder what I was going to do as my whole reason for being here was to sightSEE and I couldn’t SEE anything! The owner of the hostel assured ...

... stunning view. The castle and the main church in the old town really dominate the scenes across the little town, along with the winding river, making it incredibly picturesque. We even managed to find some quieter little spots away from the hordes of tourists where we could enjoy the river views in some peace, before we found a great little spot right on the river to have a beer and watch the rafters go by! The Vltava River can get busier than Bourke Street (or George Street for ...
