... looks out to the Imperial Gardens. We spent many a time here and got to know the bartenders quite well. The breakfast served each morning was amazing. Today Dan and I had our very first ski lesson and learnt to ski. As per usual Dan was a pro and I fell **** over head first go haha. Good to see that not much has changed in the last 12 months.

We got picked up by the ski school's car and taken to the ski rental school where we got kitted out in ski boots, skis, poles and pants. We decided our down jackets would suffice and sunglasses would prevent the snow for getting into eyes. Note to self the poles ...

... is a stunning place to visit at Christmas and well worth a visit. It's a little gem of a city hidden in the mountains with some beautiful places to visit. In December there are five different Christmas markets in Innsbruck and the atmosphere is really something else!
