    Day 87 - 22/05/05
    Salzburg to Vienna
What a difference an Autobahn makes to a 300km trip. After another brekky of cold cuts, bread rolls and kaffee we headed off just after 10am. Straight onto the A10 and around the outside of Salzburg we were then quickly on our way to Vienna. Apart from some road works that had us slowing down to 80km ( …

I went on the Ferris wheel, two different ghost trains and had ice cream while Simon did the roller coasters and crazy upside down spinny rides. I went straight to bed while the others went to the bar, I can't get rid of this cold and cough I have and nothing the pharmacy has given me seems to be working. Erin reckons it might be bronchitis and says there's a good clinic in Prague with Canadian doctors so only a few days ...

... describe what we saw is spectacular. It was beautiful. Matt was making the people behind us in the line up to our 'seats' a bit cross as he kept stopping to take photos! The opera we saw was called Siegfried. It was about a local legend of a man killing a dragon, pretty much exactly the same story as St. George in England but the German version. We were literally right up the back and could only see half of the stage. Much to our surprise we actually really enjoyed the performance. ...
