... Monday—An overcast day and was cold. Last night we had made reservations to go to the White Mt tomorrow so will do groceries and some other shopping today and pack. Left at 1 and shopped till 5:30—but did a lot of little things that needed doing. Supper was beef stew from Kimberly and apple bread too. Both very good. A drink at Sabatino’s and off to bed.

Phil, who does not like to fly, did not want to get off the plane! In Boston we ...

On the way back we saw a couple with ...

We're back on the plane again at 37,000 feet over Barcelona and are off on our very long trip home. We drove down from Boston to New York yesterday, passing through Conneticut which was very green with thick forests that came right up to the edge of the road. The tolls weren't as bad as the trip from New York to DC but they were annoying enough, having to stop several times to pay them. We spent the night at the Hampton Inn which was near JFK airport, ...

... asleep.

December 27th-Friday- Blue sky and 29 degrees, but no more snow----yet! Have some plans for the day but will all depend on the weather. At least the new snow covered up the old dirty snow and it looks better out there now. We ended up staying home all day-I did a lot of little things but Phil was bored. Dinner was leftovers from the last 3 days! But good. Later to Sabatino’s for a small house salad and a drink. Cecil, aka Felix, ...
