... first in line as we had walked in just as they started serving. About 2 hours later there were still people waiting for their meal! When we left people were still in line. Other than that it was a very nice party and Don and Annette are great hosts. We will be having dinner with them next week. So home we went, and neither of us drank much, so no problems. The temp had dipped almost into the 20s though.

Most of us didn't mind, we just wanted to get to our destination. But I guess they didn't want to risk ...

... were surrounding us in hopes of a lunch of their own--we gave them very little! On the road again and by 7 were in Sudbury looking for a Best Western-asked a lady and she suggested we NOT go into that neighborhood at all and directed us back to other motels. We ended up at a Travelodge with dinner at the attached Perkins. Meal was so-so but our French waitress was a jewel! We asked for her boss so we could tell them what a treasure they had in Lee. Back to the room ...
