... into New Hampshire, where they pay less tax! There are summer camps everywhere along the route, hence the musical title. Though it had rained heavily in the night, the morning was bright and sunny again as we cruised through Bethlehem (nope, it's true) and Twin Mountain. Our first port of call was the Silver Cascade, literally at the side of the highway in the Crawford Notch State Park. Steph, now growing in confidence with her new phone/camera, ...

We flew into Boston on Sunday and after getting the rental car we headed towards New Hampshire. It turns out that using GPS in this area isn't a good idea! We were pretty lost and well past our destination, stopped twice for directions and finally arrived after midnight. Of course we were on Pacific time still so was really only 9-10 pm. Didn't see any fall colors on that drive except a grreat sunset as we drove out of town. Its really dark at night here on the roads and ...

We left Al's house this morning around 10am and decided to just use a regular map to guide us up back roads through New Hampshire. I was trying to set something up a meeting with my dear friend from college Angi but the reception was terrible and after I lost my connection with her I could not even get a text through. The last place we talked about meeting up was Wolfeboro on the south end of Lake Winnipesauke so I went ...

... 6288 feet. It was very cold up there as a matter of fact there was a little bit of snow and. I got to throw a snow ball at Dan. After we got back down to Jackson the weather was starting to warm up. Looks like we might be able to leave the jackets and sweaters in our suitcase for a few days. We are only in Jackson one night then drive through the White Mountains and over to ...
