... times...ready to move on! The trip to Gorham, NH should have taken about three hours, but we were able to find several adventures along the way. From www.thebetheljournals.com : In 1817 the Town of Bethel voted to build a bridge over Bear River and followed with a vote ...

Friday we took a long drive and went to Vermont and visited the capital at Montpeliar and decided there wasn't time left in the day to continue on to Lake Champlain. At 6,288 feet, Mount Washington wouldn't be considered tall by western standards, but it does boast the "World's Worst Weather". Hurricane force winds ravage the top one out of every three days in the winter. Back in 1931 they recorded the fastest wind speed on earth- 231 mph, a record that still stands ...

... were all over the rocks, flying from rock to rock, and flying and landing all over me. When they flew right into my face, I had to swat them off. When I was placing my hands and feet, I'd have to swipe them off the rock because I didn't want to squish them. Thank goodness they were soo darn cute, I didn't care whether they were on me. If they were roaches, I think I'd've peed myself!

After climbing Fun House, we drove to Plymouth, NH. Let the climbing continue!!!!
