Pale ruby. Cherry nose, legs. Crisp, lush, high acidity. Some tannic shape to the wine but quite short on the finish.

So today we had a change of plan. We had booked to do shark cage diving for the morning but were asked to move it to the following day and we obliged because we are good people. So instead today was another whale watching day, because there is no better way to spend a day. There isn't much to report other than walking along the harbour and watching lots and lots of lovely whales jumping and splashing and breaching ...

... is very impressive. Prior to the pre-sorting plant being built all of the sorting was done by hand so this is a huge change for the company. Some of the apples and all of the pears and plums are still sorted by hand in the main packing facility. Lastly we visited the packing facility where all of the fruit is packed. Lines 1 to 3 are for fruit which hasn't already been sorted while line 4 is dedicated to pre-sorted fruit. Again, I'll go into more detail on the packhouse later but ...
