We decided to fit a Hannibal awning to the roof rack. This awning has no poles or ropes, is strong and quick to put up. The roof rack is now FULL - both space-wise and weight-wise. Landy's are often overloaded on their roofs and are damaged as a result, and we really don't want this to happen.

11th November 2013 Friday morning, after posting the last blog, the fog lifted gradually & by lunchtime it was completely clear enough to go up on the cable car. Wow! What an amazing experience. The cable car revolves 360 degrees while ascending & descending; once up on the mountain 360 degree panoramic views right around the city & beyond. So breathtakingly beautiful. ... br> Despite the warm weather, Knysna chilled your bones as the sun went down. Our hostel wasn't awe inspiring with drab curtains and washed out sofas. But its free internet certainly redeemed itself a bit. Laura's veg and sausage couscous was a good way to end the day.

The next day brought a pretty waterfront with some pricey shops. A strawberry milkshake later and leftover cous cous we were ready to hit the road jack.
