Not only am I going to miss Santander, I am going to miss the people. We got to know Dutch, Spanish, and British people really well, and it finally hit me that it is going to be hard to see them go!

Looking ahead to this weekend, I really need some rest! There will be a LOT of touring for the next few days, and before I know it, we will all be heading home!

    Until Salamanca!

A student from Canada stood before all of us to play us a song. We explained what he was going to do in broken Spanish, but then all of a sudden in English started telling us how his grandfather had passed during our trip - unfortunately he had lost ...

... and businesses even close for a few hours in the afternoon for their daily "siesta." This nap keeps Spaniards awake until the late hours of the night. They do not even think about dinner until 8 at night (and most do not eat until 10)! After my afternoon siesta, some friends, Emily, and I went to Pizza Hut because lately, we have been feeling homesick. We miss our friends, family, and normal ...
