My last day was just as eventful as the last few days. I wanted an easy day without any stress or problems, but this is India and having stress free days is not in its vocabulary. Delhi has been amazing and although undeniably scruffy, dirty and chaotic its vibrancy has surprised me. The guide and driver took us on two whirlwind tours visiting the Red Fort, the Qutub Minaret complex, Humayun's Tomb, India Gate and the Presidential Palace to name a few of the stunning examples of Indian Architecture! The Tomb was especially beautiful and took my breath away! As the "precursor" to the Taj Mahal it has also given me itchy feet for our trip ...
