... The only difference is the prices, which seem to be about half of what we shell out in the UK.



From Pula we head back north up the west coast of the peninsula, sticking to roads that keep us in sight of the sea, looking for a likely camping ground.

We we soon find it at Camping Colone. May sound a bit arsey but it's a cracking spot. Camping places are strung along a 2 or 3 ...

... I've barely had them before Motovun. Every meal included truffles. I had truffles and chicken, truffles and pasta and even truffle soup. My mouth literally waters when I think back on the food I ate there. Damn. Also, my trip to Europe has allowed me to discover a love for red wine, which makes me feel more mature than usual. Finally becoming a vino expert I'd like to think ahah. Did some fun things like shopping for wine and truffles, and also visited the film ...

... then catch the train into Venice, it's less than 10minutes. I love being back here but it's amazingly busy. We have a look around the shops, Alfie gets his. Messi shirt that he's been wanting all holiday. We look in all the leather shops and I buy a lime green bag that is different to everything else we've seen. ... a very nice little harbour town. Lots of local craft shops - some nice bits. We found our obligatory sticker for the trailer - our collection is coming along nicely. We leave again tomorrow and have booked into ljubljana resort - the capital of Solvenia, one of the smallest capital cities in Europe, it looks interesting!
