Once again we drove through Hendon, another town in the family history on our way to East Knoyle from where William Ford & his family were sent back to Chicklade because of the "Poor Law"
Then finally back here to Mere, so we did quite a bit of Family History Tripping but did not find out any extra information, it was just good to be in places where I had family 200 plus years ...

... tick on the list. By lunchtime we were in Salisbury for a look at the cathedral. It's a beautiful cathedral, but I liked the Bath Abbey more, the stained glass windows were amazing there.
