If you stay there, try to get one of the refurbished rooms in the main building or an executive room in the building across the road. the executive rooms are spacious, modern and clean. avoid pool side family rooms. they are crap. dirty, ugly, crap! we were lucky that ashley from reception was so helpful and changed our booking. very bad first impression. too bad, otherwise we would have given them 4 stars.

It was a scary thing to do, hoping like hell that there was sufficient room for our car, glad we opted to leave the caravan behind.

We are leaving the Cape Jervis/McLaren Vale area with very good memories, and some very, very fine wines...the Barossa and Clare Valley will have a long way to go to beat these ones! So let's go see....! ...

... angry with us as it was crossing the road, its lucky we missed it.The caravan park is behind the hotel you can stay free but if you want to use toilets and hot showers its $20 and powered site for $30. We get key pay $20 so can have hot shower and go to the toilet in a flush toilet instead of compost one. I have shower at night and again in the morning before we leave. Took some photos of gum trees with tangerine flowers very pretty.

Wonky tail was there first and he got scared off my Fatty Boom Boom and then we heard someone walking on our roof who we named Lightfoot who must have been big as Fatty Boom Boom was scared off. Night watch duty over, time for sleep.

Our final day we had to make the ...
