We started the day at 5:00 a.m. and met our bus shortly thereafter. After a 2 hour bus ride to Cape Jervis Ferry Terminal, we started our 45 minute ferry ride to Kangaroo Island where we met our tour bus. Our first stop was Clifford's Honey Farm. Kangaroo Island is the only place in the world where a pure strain of the Ligurian bee exists. The …

Bad start of the day. Very bad start of the day.
The alarm went off at 5.30. We get up, finish packing, wake the kids and wait in the reception area for the bus to pick us up. The documents have 2 departure times on them. One says 6.25am and the other 6.45. So we wait. And …

Good morning! I did not go for my planned run. This night was one of the coldest of our entire travel. I woke up early being so cold that I switched on the heating and took out more blankets before going back to bed. Not even a bad conscious was going to drag me out in that cold and rainy and …

Had a bad start to the day, my coach to Kangaroo Island didn't turn up at my hotel. When I phoned them to ask where they were they said they had waited 10 minutes for me and then gone (I had been waiting in reception for twenty minutes before the pick-up time). If you stay there, try to get one of the refurbished rooms in the main building or an executive room in the building across the road. the executive rooms are spacious, modern and clean. avoid pool side family rooms. they are crap. dirty, ugly, crap! we were lucky that ashley from reception was so helpful and changed our booking. very bad first impression. too bad, otherwise we would have given them 4 stars.
