If you stay there, try to get one of the refurbished rooms in the main building or an executive room in the building across the road. the executive rooms are spacious, modern and clean. avoid pool side family rooms. they are crap. dirty, ugly, crap! we were lucky that ashley from reception was so helpful and changed our booking. very bad first impression. too bad, otherwise we would have given them 4 stars.

The day was topped off by another garden visitation from a family of wallabies, including some young ones who were play ...

The main feature of the island is Flinders Chase National Park 139klms from Penneshaw where the ferry terminal is. So a long drive & a long day to see the Remarkable rocks, Cape du Couedic (Admirals Arch) & lighthouse. On the way down we called in & did the boardwalk tour to see seals at Seal Bay. In all we ...

A highlight of Adelaide was McLaren Vale (not the town) the vineyards!! we did a tour with food and wine - a Woolley Sister dream day out!! We started out on the town - which is really small but the we hit the vineyards. ...
