If you stay there, try to get one of the refurbished rooms in the main building or an executive room in the building across the road. the executive rooms are spacious, modern and clean. avoid pool side family rooms. they are crap. dirty, ugly, crap! we were lucky that ashley from reception was so helpful and changed our booking. very bad first impression. too bad, otherwise we would have given them 4 stars.

We stopped at the servo to buy fuel and took out a second mortgage to pay for it and a six pack of beer before going to the camp site. This site gave us an opportunity to recharge our devices and do some washing. Bei's quote of the day when I was showing off my sun tan. "you white people tan ...

... my side for boat journeys were somewhere buried in my rucksack. We got on board and there were a few excitable teenagers laughing and shouting and playing in the aisle trying to walk in a straight line whilst the boat swayed lunging you the opposite way to where you were headed.

The stash of sick bags and instructions as to how to avoid sea sickness did nothing for my confidence that we could ride this journey out with our subway breakfasts still in ...
