... to see Grammy and Grampy and we were delighted to see her. It was a great trip and we are glad we had the opportunity to do the trip. We are so appreciative of Kathy and Kevin for letting us use Just-A-Splash for this great trip. We were on board for 70 days and we travelled 2287.2 nautical miles. We saw some beautiful place and met some wonderful people. We spent more than we had planned but we a great time and are glad we did the Downeast Circle Loop ...

... also happen to meet Judy Gross, LightHeart Gear owner. She showed me her tent, I have to say, it is awesome! I want to order one, when I am ready for another tent. We enter the Whites tomorrow. I have less then 20 days with my hiking partner, Stargazer. It will be strange to not have her to hike with anymore, we have spent everyday together for months now. More than that, I feel bad that she will not summit big K with me, because she has to return to Germany Sept 9th. ...

... something that was local and not a chain food place. Catalano's pizza was a small wooden building by the side of the road in a small town called Carroll. It served a huge, homemade pizza (they were stretching the pizzas in front of the customers) which was out of this world, plus an enormous plate of fries. We simply couldn't finish either! And this was for the equivalent of about £14 for the both of us! The journey back to the hotel ...
