Caught the 3pm ferry leaving from Cuyo town to Palawan for 725 peso. It left at 3pm and didn't arrive in Puerto Princesa until 10am the following morning. Unlike on the ferry coming here, this time i was the only westerner on board as nearly all tourists to Palawan fly from either Manila or Cebu. Ended up staying in the dorm at the Banwa guesthouse for 350 peso. It's not far from the port in a nice quiet area of town away from the main drag although unlike most other places ...

... you. As we walked along the pathway, our new friends following closely, we approached the entrance to the Underground River. The vines of the trees hung over a body of water, while a boat disappeared through a tiny cave.
