... us directions to a Guesthouse which had been recommended to us and we drove along the beach/road/path we found ‘blue bamboo guesthouse’ at the end of the bay! We got a bamboo hut for the night which was just a stones throw from the water, set in some tropical gardens. Our fifth* natural wonder of the world

A travel blog entry by adandgen on Jan 31, 2014

The seven natural wonders of the world are: The Amazon rainforest Iguazu falls Table mountain. Cape Town Ha Long Bay Jeju Island, South Korea Komodo Island, Indonesia And... The Underground River on Palawan. Apparently, these were voted on by the people of the world quite recently. Considering how interested I am in this kind of thing, I'm surprised it passed me by. It is a really nice little place with spiral staircases & four post beds. It cost approx. $37 per person per night & we would recommend for a stay in Palawan if ...

... fish for breakfast, fish for lunch, fish for dinner. (After my sub-par diet in Taiwan, my body felt thoroughly rejuvenated after only a few days here!) Dab Dab made a delicious sweet and sour fish but it's their breakfast I'm still raving about. It's simple, but so good. Fried fish with lemon, vinegar, and tomato. Garlic rice. Two eggs. Strong coffee. I wish I'd taken a picture!! Delicious. I don't think anyone would understand until they tried it. It was so good!
