    ... Lancaster was very pretty with the autumn leaves out.
    Arriving in the Amish area near Bird in Hand we stopped at the first quilt shop we saw. Beautiful quilts hanging outdoors on the clothes line and over the railings. Magnificent quilts inside.

    ... grounds are quite spacious. It's known for hosting a herd of nearly tame deer that promptly showed up the 1st evening here. I even saw the famous albino one the other night! There's also a heck of a lot geese; looks like playing lawn games is going to be rather dangerous if you don't watch we're you step. ;)
