She also loved to talk and told us how Americans really don't like to travel too far from what they know, their families are important to them so they generally all stay in the same town and live nearby supporting each other.     Our weekend at Beth and Darrin's - both profs at University of Delaware - was filled with outside activities. It is beautifully green everywhere!     Arriving in the Amish area near Bird in Hand we stopped at the first quilt shop we saw. Beautiful quilts hanging outdoors on the clothes line and over the railings. Magnificent quilts inside.
