... driver accelerated and braked as if he was reliving a Fast and the Furious movie, minus the turbocharged GTI. Thank goodness Kyoto’s sights never fail to disappoint and once again we were all (Yumi, James, Tom and I) struck by the beauty of the Kinkaku-ji, Kiyomizu-dera and Nijo-jo.

... down it was all about the Gion Matsuri for round two.

Second night being a Friday meant there were about ten times more people out than the night before. It was crazy packed.

Love how the seemingly regimented Japanese just love the opportunity to down beers at a very rapid rate while just wandering around.

... visitors we couldnt enter the house just look at it from a distance from the outside, take some pictures and go...the house itself and the gold coating didnt impress me so much but the setting of the house near the reflection small lake with the rocks and pine trees was magnificent.
