    Thank god for Antonio Sentena, the founder of "Real Men Real Style." Tony has an instructional video on how to tie a scarf in a Parisian knot. Atta boy Tony. Let me get a mirror . . ."uh huh . . , fold in half . . . got it . . .make a loop . . . pass loose end through the loop . . . and "Voila!"

    ... pet gets new skirt and trainers ( now committed to jogging when we return home!). Back to hotel by 6 and room ready which is good. Adults go for bottle of local wine ( Trinitas C******nay) downstairs and sit outside. I then briefly check out vineyards with lovely view. Back to room by 8. This is a nice hotel but massive and quite corporate and napa valley is much bigger than we were ...

    ... at the apt, Michael Jacob and Drew played a round of disc golf at Golden Gate Park while Critty and I went on a wild goose chase through the city to find Wal- Mart. It was an adventure and fun! ;) We cooked the Hearst steaks and fresh veggies from the produce stan for our 4th of July dinner. Yum!     ... day. MC & N had to go to Sonoma to see agent. I went too and shopped. Rest of day spent doing jobs, chatting nd reading. Bit cooler. Wednesday October 31st Final packing up. Water problems---no water. Cleaners cancelled. Poor N. Drove to SF with one or two stops on way. Had lunch in Rosie's. v.good. Then MC & I set off for Carmel. MC drove well. Large roads.
