So, Day 2 of *Driving Ms. Kathy*...;-) I learned my lesson of Brady's idea of a departure time and decided I wouldn't miss out on a bit of exploring. So, I headed out to explore North Beach...a really famous area from the Beatnik days, ahead of the hippie days in Haight Ashbury. I found an old photo of the Kingston Trio online (sadly, I do remember them...) standing in front of the historic Sentinel Building.

... We didn't stay at the lodge this year, instead choosing to take Tumbleweed and stay at the fairgrounds in Santa Rosa. For those of you who RV, it is a decent place to stay for a reasonable price. Gravel sites, fairly level and quiet...unless it's fair time I suppose. :)
We headed back to Sacramento on the 5th for a couple more commitments and left for Oregon on June 16th. We are looking forward to cooler weather and seeing some new things.

SF itself is a beautiful city. From when we arrived on the 15th, we've spent much of the time in relaxation mode (probably because it was raining). We started out on Sunday by going to Church in the morning and appreciated the opportunity to be able to give thanks for all the blessings we have. We also said a prayer for Fiji in the wake of Cyclone Evan's imminent ...
