... our coffee there was a massive bang, I thought someone had been shot or a bomb had gone off and was about to dive under the table when I peeped out the curtain..... It was a blow out on a sack truck!!!! Jeez those things are loud when they explode! After our hearts had stopped racing and the elderly couple next to us had recovered from their near heart attack we tucked into our massive plates of food! Whilst sat in the ...

... day. Of course I leave things till the last minute though so I can’t blame anyone but myself for this hectic day. Nonetheless, I find myself excited to get going! ... And then she was gone. Mom left while I was checking out without even saying goodbye... *sob*

No, I'm kidding. She said a very brief goodbye, as the shuttle taking her to the airport was leaving and we didn't have time for more than that. It was probably better that way, honestly. We probably would have spent an hour saying goodbye if we were given the time (yes, I'm finally ready to admit that I inherited her gift for gab... *sigh*).
