... cookie and honey beer during my Czech experience and I have to say many of them were very nice. Not sure they will compete with the Nowegian cider over the next week or so but I will keep you updated. Anyway as I sit and wait in Oslo airport I have to say the last few days in Prague have been pretty special but it's onto our next stop, the land of the Northern Lights. Let's hope the nights are clear and the days are crisp because I've got light hunting to do. Much love, Bec ...

On our walk along Wencesslass square we learned of the velvet revolution, found out why Wencesslass was so good and stumbled onto the best park to chill out and enjoy the sun. Finally it snows! We finally get some snow! You can see the snow piling in the recess of the red verandah on one of the Christmas Market roofs! Proof! We were all so excited until we went outside for our River Cruise.......until you realise that with snow comes very, bloody cold weather! It was a pretty good two hours meandering up the Vltavar River, through various lock systems, past medieval towns not ruined by the bombings of WWII, and eating a very ...

Our second and final day in Prague we walked around to Old Town square again with the astronomical clock, Parizska avenue, old-new synagogue (oldest synagogue in Europe), Jewish quarter, Powder tower (one of the city's entrances during 15th century), Estate theatre, Mustek area which is a popular meeting spot, Wenceslas square and Prague national museum. Every side street we walked down had more beautiful buildings and I could have gotten lost for hours and loved ...
