Yesterday started out badly for me. While doing tear down my chair wheel caught the hose and ripped it and the hookup from the trailer - again! Then, to add insult to injury, my chair got caught in the mud - again! Nita had to haul the handy dandy mats over to get it out.

The drive was a relatively short one from Tallahassee to Ormond ...

... It does seem like a great family spot but it was almost overwhelming for how over the top it was. Chris and I definitely appreciate a more understated type of place. We took advantage of a nearby beach that was much quieter and walked along the boardwalk and in the sand. ... just in time, only minutes later and the water would have had it stuck fast. My hero for helping, as others walked by them just looked on. He was drenched and covered in splattered sand all up one side when he got back to the hotel, so we headed up to our room so he could shower off. ... I were a poet so I could have done a better job, or that I had the right video/photography equipment to take a good picture of it, but it was a scene definitely worth the ride! I would classify this experience right alongside the time Eryn and I were on the Mayan Riveria and a Sea Turtle came ashore, dug a hole, laid her eggs, and trundled back off the sea. We were so close to her we were splashed with sand from her flippers!
