On our journey north to Savannah, we decided to stay in Daytona for the night. This is a short stay. We are in a motel on the world famous Daytona beach which is great, for only $30 each for the night.

the first thing we did when we arrived was go for a long walk down the road to the local mall. We got subway for dinner, then walked back along the beach. We saw the Daytona speedway on the way in. It is one mammoth venue.
