... but we were not in one of them. The drivers were awful. They were mean, impatient, and stupid. That's a horrible combination. I was also just in a bad mood so I'm sure my attitude had a lot to do with it.

Anyways, I began feeling much better after we left for the second leg of the day's journey. We were hoping to reach as far as this small town called Lovelock, ...

That would be awesome! Wonder how long it would keep me in the air? How ...

          • Wearing a tank top by 9am... in San Francisco. (What!?)
          • A delicious, sweet, and loving early morning send-off by great friends.
          • Stopping to write SFO -> YHZ on my car windows, proud to be making such an epic trek
          • A looooong detour around a closed stretch of I-80 (between Davis and Sacramento) which took us up Hwy 113, east on I-5, and finally back down to join I-80. It was stop and go all ...

... truck. I though my phone was locked in the truck, so I didn't think I could call her, not knowing her number by heart and I was wondering how long I would have to wait for her to return, when suddenly my bag started ringing. That's when I found out that Addie never found the truck and had been wandering aimlessly. It turned out she was less than two blocks from where we parked and we met up and headed back out on the road again.
