We saw this "place" from the highway and had to stop.
Very creepy and weird but strangely intriguing.
It was built but a man as a tribute to the hardship of life for the Native America People.

... landing would be? Oh well, unless one of you sacrifice money to pay for a large kite for me to try that with......it will not happen........not a bad trade off tho....you spend some money to watch me get lifted into the air and slammed into the ground a few times.....seems fair to me! Winds picked up and then the rain/snow/ice started, so I called it an early night and hit up a Walmart parking lot. Take care, be safe and I will talk to you ...

  • Seeing Achilles (my cat) pant. I've never seen a cat pant before. We were all hot, stuck in that traffic.
  • Seeing the snow-capped Sierras from just outside of Sacramento
  • Stopping at Ikeda's to pick up one of their famous pies: marionberry for Kyle, tomorrow night's Couchsurfing ...

  • On the road toward Colorado!

... truck. I though my phone was locked in the truck, so I didn't think I could call her, not knowing her number by heart and I was wondering how long I would have to wait for her to return, when suddenly my bag started ringing. That's when I found out that Addie never found the truck and had been wandering aimlessly. It turned out she was less than two blocks from where we parked and we met up and headed back out on the road again.

There won't be anything to do tomorrow either, so I'll write a little more then about the people on this trip and why they're making it so much more enjoyable than I expected.
