    So longest miles in the saddle today. 92 miles in the heat across Nevada desert. Some chaffage, must admit I was counting the miles towards the end. Long cycle along I-80 the interstate.     ... we first went to the Super 8 but then settled for the Motel 6, $58. We fueled up at the flying J down the road and while I was checking the car over I found the serpentine belt was torn. Bugger! So we went to the auto parts place to get a new belt and changed it in the parking lot. Yay all ok!! We then went back to the room and got KFC from next door for dinner. Probably the best KFC I have had, not a drop of grease surprisingly. Off to sleep now after a big day ...

    ... truck. I though my phone was locked in the truck, so I didn't think I could call her, not knowing her number by heart and I was wondering how long I would have to wait for her to return, when suddenly my bag started ringing. That's when I found out that Addie never found the truck and had been wandering aimlessly. It turned out she was less than two blocks from where we parked and we met up and headed back out on the road again.
