Arrived in Boston as usual too hungry and too hot. Sorted the food and then walked down to the hostel- May sound cruel but taxis are for wooses and from now on it is practically all car (except Chicago).

Lovely meal in Chinatown. Not as good as Mr Chows and of course Ruth had egg fried rice!

Of course inequality and racism still persist, and recent mining strikes highlight tensions boiling below the surface.

... to outdo the other and yelling out their bargains. A few steps later we were at Quincy Market.
Another very busy place filled with unique shops and eateries. After a walkthrough we crossed the plaza to Faneuil Hall where much of the planning for the Revolution took place. This is right on the Freedom Trail so after our tour we set out following the red brick line towards the Italian North End. Past all the restaurants ...
