Lake Balaton was just what we needed- a beautiful, laid back, vacation spot for Central Europeans! It was so nice to come to a small town where there were little to no tourists, finally. ... This required a visit to a notary and then the SA Embassy to have it ratified. Well, the notary was fine. € 60 for 10 minutes face time and a few cords and stamps. The form had space for 2 witnesses of the signatures. The notary assured us that in Hungary, her stamp and signature negated the need for witnesses.
So on to the Embassy on the next day. We had phoned for an appointment, to be told there were none ...

It tried coming back one more time, but was convinced to leave us alone with more hissing and further demonstrations that we were in fact bigger than it. The next day we spent all day at home playing around. And then we went out the back and played nerf battles with the family.
The last one we went for a walk around town.
It is really cool, this is one of favorite places. I loved Keszthely so ...
