... catch up with him and Avril over team and cakes in the garden (a 20 degree evening in April - a real treat) and to hear what they have been up to.

Friday was a bit frustrating as we had hoped to get some shopping done for the girls but our efforts went unrewarded. We sleep, it's been a long day, but good ...

Not much to write about today. We travelled from London to Lincoln via two trains. Great experience and a good warm up to our trip to Paris and the rest of our train legs to Amsterdam. We decided to walk the 0.8 miles from the Lincoln station to The Old Palace. Mr Google suggested the way........just forgot to advise the incline. It was steep, and we are fully laden with clothing, bags and baileys. Check in, dump the bags ...

After a traditional English Buffet breakfast (sausage, eggs, fried bread etc - we're going to be coming back a little heavier than what we left), we thought we would have a look around the village.

Of course you start at the local church. A beautiful church that we were lucky enough to be able to go into. There is so much history in these churches and villages. Eryn even decided to ...
