    Bill & I had a great time at dinner with Bill's family at Pearl's last evening. We were served by our favorite waitress Jen. Bill had his favorite Rib Eye steak and savored every bite. After dinner, he MADE me drive him to Village Market to pick up his favorite Dove chocolate-chocolate bars. He ate two and I ate one bar. Yum!

    We got very little sleep as both of us had a restless night. I was up at 2:30 AM and Bill got up at 3:00 ...

    ... 8211; Monday

    We were rudely awakened about 7:30 AM (the only morning we actually were asleep at 7:30!) by a sharp knock on the door and a lady informing us we couldn’t have a tent erected here. Too upscale, I guess!

    Dex and the boys hiked Indigo Bluffs Trail in the morning while I stayed at the RV and caught up on bills and chores. After lunch, we all (including Maggie) headed out to Pierce Stocking Scenic Drive in ...

    ... still alive. I always thought that 60 was extremely old, and close to the end of ones life. I don’t feel anything like my Dad appeared to be when he was 60. His life was much harder than mine. Many of my fellow students in my Westchester Life Stories Writing Class are 30 years older than me, and full of vitality and humor. Maybe I’ll be lucky, and be just like they are. They give me hope for a long, healthy, happy life.
