This drive along Hwy 2 from Newport, where we left I-95, was a beautiful and scenic drive. Found a great Inn and Motel in Bethel, and the proprietors were a great couple who have run this place for 28 yrs and we loved it. Very cold here tonight - we arrived after dark, so we we couldn't see the mountains that surrounded us, but were told they were just below Sunday River Ski Resort.

I set out towards Weirs Beach to meet my mom and head back to the Cabin for my last night on the lake. It rained and rained until our arrival home. My mom and I filled the car ride with healing conversation and words of love.
