We are not going to Legoland
... and go for a drive with Dmac. Great that they invited us for easy dinner even though they must be buggered, felt that the weekend went so quick was nice just to chat and chill. Squeezed in some last minute pics of Lily of course- next time we see her she'll be running! Really didn't want to say goodbye to any of them, almost all the Aussies out of Esbjerg...almost! I've decided I need to sleep outside more like the babies ...
Recovery day
Carol: Not too sure where yesterday ended and today began. Let's just say some of us who arrived home at 3.30 made it to breakfast. And many weren't seen until the afternoon ! ! There are 30 Aussies booked in here and several Danes as well. All the Aussies went to Birgitte and Daniel's for lunch. He can't buy ...
The Night Watchman
... Their job was to watchout and alert the villagers should anything go wrong. Today the watchman does the same rounds singing a tune but just for the tourists. We were lucky enough to go on the 10pm round, the watchman carries an old candle lantern also. He gave us a great history lesson along with pointing out interesting things around the town. An interesting fact was houses would sink because of the weight, they would build the houses ...
