    ... sooooo had to get used to that. Like you have no privacy or something. In the end I got used to it and it turned out to be fun every now and then... Chatting with everyone and I use the 'training' when we have some same like toilets back home.

    Some of my friends don't feel great if someone else can hear you pee... Most Dutch bathrooms make sure you don't hehe. Guess it was a good training to know it can be that way as well.

    ... are shipped out to Alcatraz daily, it's amazing how many people they can fit on one boat. We were at the back of a queue that seemed to contain hundreds, we thought we would have to wait for the next boat, but no they fit us all on plus more.

    An interesting place, worth one visit at least. They closed the place in 1963 due to running costs & deteriorating buildings. Alcatraz was never run to full capacity, on average there were 260 inmates, ...

    ... perspective of the canyon. It was very hot and we were sweating profusely but it was so peaceful and calm and we just sat on the cliff with eyes closed listening to the silence. The trek up took us three times as long as it took for us to get down. Huffing and puffing we got back up headed straight to the water fountain to rehydrate. By the time we were back up it was around 7 pm and it had cooled down a fair bit which helped the recuperation. By 7:30 pm we were on our way ...

    ... on this day with great visibility but there must be some interesting moments, especially with the para-sailers that can go so quick. Back to the car saw us across town to check out a couple of views from Potrero Hill, which is just a suburb to the south. Driving across town we got up these steep hills (thank goodness for automatics) with stop signs on every cross street.
