Wonderful day seeing the sight of San Francisco. We woke up early, or rather had trouble sleeping after about 3:00 in the morning due to travelling for about 11 hours and change in time. Still we both felt OK and decided to just set off straight after breakfast.

We get there and of course, the staffed hours are only till 1pm on a Friday and it was now 4pm. So we drove all the way there to have to drive all the way back, lucky it wasn’t more than half an hour away. As we drive back to our hotel for another early night in, we get stuck in so much traffic as it’s peak hour on a Friday late afternoon. Annoying!
... and screened but you don't have to take off your shoes or jackets, get your liquids out of your bag etc. I went through first but was so super stressed that I couldn't answer the security officers question; he had only asked a general 'how did you like Texas?' question, but after I hesitated to answer & probably looked like a deer in a head light, he asked further questions about where I've been and where I'm going - time wasting basically, which meant even more stress ...
