Our flight today was at 10:35 from Heathrow, terminal 3. We were breakfasting by 06:50 and by 07:30 we were waiting for the hopper bus to take us back to terminal 5 where we would then board the Heathrow Express train to terminal 3. We got off at Pier 39 jumped into a couple of cabs and then met down at the diner where we had a very quiet dinner and then off to our rooms to pack and rest up as tomorrow is big travelling day. I had just spent the last week in the desert and had not got sunburnt, one arvo at the footy and my nose is burnt and my arm has a tan line where the wrist band for the tail gate was.

... made our way towards Union Square and spent some time looking round. This is where all the designer stores are located- Chanel, Armarni, Vera Wang, Bvlgari, Tiffany's... you get the picture - so it was definitely window shopping for us! There is also a huge Macey's department store.

We felt slightly better with some pizza and decided that we would not dwell on the negative parts of the day for much longer. So far the road trip has run pretty smoothly and this has probably been the worst part yet, so if anything we consider ourselves lucky as we are safe and uninjured which is the important thing. Money will come and go, and it will all work out fine.
