... from the same dive shop who just complimented me on having pseudoephadrine in Phuket as it cannot be bought at the pharmacies (it can be turned into crystal meth).

We managed both dives well, and Luke looked more than just a beginner, I think the 10+ dives he has done on various discover scuba's held him in good stead. There were some sights though. There was a big group of Chinese discover scuba's. Lets just say they made as good divers as ...

I'm getting nervousmaybe it's time to change something, but I feel lazy to do it, it's too hot and the heat takes my energy away.Again two and a half weeks and then I will fly to India where the music will change totally, no endless chats and so much knowledge at the beach, but tour from city to city, from one temple to another and then maybe meditation, Ayurvedic, detoxification, purification , etc ...Meanwhile, ...

... marble covered buddha, probably 10-15 stories high, thats been under construction for 20 years, and may never be finished. Its funded by the local community, mostly buddhists and we do a few things with their fundraising to remember Tim. We write on a marble tile that will go on the Buddha, and the theory is that it should bring the family luck. We also buy a bell and write a message on it for Tim from us all and hang it on the Buddha. Its pretty moving and it ...

... see nap time - very different world to the one that we know for a living. We have immersed ourselves in the culture of the place, indulging in street food pretty much everyday. There are food markets pretty much everywhere here and we have had a go and some very different things, such as fried crab with yellow curry - not my greatest choice off the menu. Had a lovely breakfast in the hotel today then headed off to the beach. Brought the iPod and a book and we were sorted for the day! We had only rente out the sun loungers when a big storm started so we had to run to a little cafe. Got talking to an Aussie couple who were on a holiday to have all their teeth done here!
