    ... We too can't take the winters. We headed down the road toward our next destination, Niagara Falls via Palmyra, NY. We got as far as South Bend, IN., home of Notre Dame University. We found a Walmart that would let us boondock in their parking lot with all the big rigs. We made some dinner and then carefully climbed in bed (no the bed is not fixed yet). Ted says he needs some pieces wood to go along with the glue and clamps he has at the ready. ...

    ... We ended up in a quaint little town called New Buffalo, Michigan. It had a beautiful beach, a nice little pier and a park for kids to play at. Annalena was also ready for a stop because she had just slept 6 of the 7 hours we were in the car already. :)

    ... lot around 8am and were excited because our friends Jeremiah and Stef Wade (who live not too far from here) were coming out with their kids to have breakfast with us and attend the first show. We've known them for over 15 years and it's always an absolute delight to catch up with them. We had breakfast with the four of them at Das Essenhaus, an amazing Amish restaurant down the road from the lot.

    ... he wasn't really equipped to answer, from a couple of rather bombastic women. Why people come to these very different places then by their attitude: display their contempt.
    We then went into a theatre to watch a doco about the beginnings of the Amish, both in Europe and then America. I know I personally couldn't belong to such a narrow thinking way of life.Too much of a rebel!
