    Day 9

... disgusting. I disinfected mine, but it still grossed me out. After we looked at all the fish up close, we had the opportunity to jump off the boat! I got some cool videos of that. I got sort of sunburnt, so a nice shower back at home base felt good after a busy day. Everyone got all dressed up, we ate dinner, then listened to a talk about how we can go further with GLA, 7 elements and the Dominican Republic. Lots of pictures were ...

Every single person besides the mentors (who completely downplayed this day to a little walk in the woods) was on the verge of death. I even took off my shirt so I was only in a sports bra. Watching all the 9 other skits was also a great time because everyone's ...

... organization is partnering with the bishop for use.

The rooms are air conditioned and simply equipped, but much of the equipment is what most Americans would consider failing. Rusted shower fixtures, a broken hot tub, cracked counter tops, an expectation to encounter cockroaches, lizards, and who knows what else...Though it does feel clean, and we've been assured that it ...

... It is hard to gauge a countries poverty level by things like this, but I try my best to identify indicators of social development. I am, after two months, still getting a feel for the people I am living and working with. Getting a vision of what they have, how they function, and how it is my learning process can make a positive contribution to their community.
I once read in National Geographic, I think, that there is a new development index which uses nighttime ...
