... of desert with occasional views of the Mexican border fence. I hit 3 check ipoints - the first one was a very young border patrol lady - she looked at me and said "are you a US citizen" ? For a moment I was going to respond "Si Señorita" but my filter was working and I wisely responded with a "Yes" she gave me the move-on thumb like she knew what I was thinking. Sat April 5 flew to Denver and met Eric. RTD bus to Boulder. Lunch with Jake at Snooze then stroll to town and slices of pizza for dinner while Jake was at work at Tutti Frutti. Stayed at the cottage on 9th and Cascade. Sun morning hike with Eric on Chataqua trail then brunch at Salt with Griffin and Jake. Saw The Grand Budapest Hotel then dinner at the Zolo Grill. Monday am breakfast at the Village Coffee Shop with Jake then shopping downtown ...

... photos and telling the relationships to each other. When we got there, they were just throwing in some fruit and veggies for them, so they were pretty active...and impressive. Thru another exotic bird area and to the Lemur walk - where you go right into the cage with them. They pretty much ignore you...two of them walked a few feet past us - cool to watch them...

Then it was off to the safari ride...it was about 30 min ...

... wasn't so good, but had an interesting exhibit of a car two brothers modified to make a non-stop journey across america. fitted with everything required for the 6,500 mile trip, theycould refuel without stopping and even change a wheel without having to stop. the museum of photographic arts featured a number of atmospheric black and white photostory images that were stunning. we then had a while as trainspotters in the ...
