Market stalls everywhere, even when eating they come to the table and sell their wares...I am not great at bargaining,,this will definitely take time to hone those skills...I feel sorry for them and usually pay too much.

The stalls outside the ship, sold everything and we purchased some local beer to take on board,they must have sold quite a few to the passengers on the ship as they kept having to get more supplies.

... where to stay in Phuket. We read a fair bit and some said Patong is only worth a day visit if that, others said it is great and worth more. All in all it seemed as though there were plenty of nice beach towns in Southern Phuket but Patong sounded the most interesting - so here we are! Patong in our opinion is like a slightly crazier version of Bangkok but with a beach! It even has a sort of Khaosan Road equivalent called Bangla Road ...
