... and we LOVED IT!! It was basically real country food or comfort food maybe. The large dining area had lots of animals (dead and stuffed) which have been used in unusual ways. 3 geese were hanging from the ceiling and every so often their wings would flap and a goose sound comes out, an owl sits on a perch and hoots sometimes, a raccoon is high up and has stolen a box of cracker jacks and then another raccoon that popped out of a barrel to look around and finally ...

Afterwards, we drove to Celeron, which is where Lucy was actually born (about a 5 minute drive from Jamestown) and found a park where ...

We weren't sure what to expect, and we didn't arrive until about 7:30, but we went to the Quaker Lake area and checked in to the Cain Hollow campground. We had the best campsite we've had all trip (minus the views). Site 161 was huge, shaded, private ...

... I was past Illinois, it wasn't too bad. There's roadworks in every state, which is normal for this time of year anyway, but worse this year because President Obama released infrastructure funding for transport, so all of the states are digging up roads and train lines, which is great in the long term, but a pain to drive through. The other downside of construction, is that I have driven past a number of the Great Lakes today, but not ...
