... t compare it to other temples and take it for what it is. I was prepared to be harassed by beggars and kids and many had told us as well as Tripadviser but I think we struck gold here as we were not troubled at all, except for one lady who tried to sell us fans but that was over in 10 seconds.

We walked around the pagoda taking in the atmosphere before making our way up to the summit of Trai Thuy Hill where a white sculpture of Buddha stands 14m or 46ft ...

... pool and flipped over as it was now back heavy- unlucky! We did this several times over the day, each time I hopped out while Nath shouted at me not to, some people just never learn. After a good four hours of watersides, we dried off and went to the aquarium, which was beautiful, but very hard to photograph, and to keep my inside 7 year old inside. ... until 4.30 for some unbeknown reason. The next day Sean left and us three biked to the mud baths. It was sooo much fun. Swimming in mud and washing it off with mineral water then having a mineral water bath. I loved it I got my hair and face in it, not one part of me was not covered.
