... called 'the shack' and this is where we stayed for the entire day. We sat I deck chairs under their awning and ventured out into the sun for a swim whenever we felt like it. They even had surfboard rental so I gave it a go for a bit. Tasty fish tacos for lunch (the only thing that they hadn't run out of on their menu) and another few swims rounded if our time at long beach. A moped ride back and a few selfies with the sea and we were exhausted. It's funny how relaxing can be so ...

We had rice paper noodles, seafood dumplings, various savoury pancakes, noodle soup, a coconut pudding dessert, and a Saigon beer back at Lanterns restaurant where we enjoyed visiting with the other members of our group who were from New York, Australia, Portugal and England.

The main event that dominated my week was taking ...

... although the tanks seemed quite small for the size of fish.

One of the best things to do in Nha Trang is to eat. We had been recommended a couple of local restaurants by the manager at the hotel Nikko in HCMC. We would never have found these places on our own as they were pretty much out of the tourist trap. The restaurants were basic, very, very basic but the food was amazing. So many great and ...
