I spent the morning taking an Italian exam!!! The afternoon was a little more fun, touring Palazzo Pitti with my Art History class.

Hi Everyone!

After an exhausting weekend in Brussels, I was in for yet another treat with cooking classes in Florence. Organized by my school, a group of us met with a chef for some lessons.

We were taught how to prepare typical Tuscan cuisine including Ribollita and Stuffed zucchini-flowers.

Everything was delicious & I look forward to trying these recipes at home!

Today we had our orientation of the Villa, so we met with all the professors, people who work at the Villa, etc. and heard about all the courses, activities, field trips, that we will be participating in this semester. It just keeps getting better and better! All the professors care about their subjects and really want us all to become equally passionate and interested in the Italian culture and lifestyle. Today was move-in day after an orientation in the morning, and I found out I was rooming with Kendyl and it was just the two of us.  We were sent by taxi to our apartments where we met our agent and he showed us our new home for three months.  We live in an extra-small loft apartment that is really meant for no more than two people who don't mind getting to know each other better (goof thing I like ...
