We attended the Orvis Fly Fishing 2 day school at Orvis Headquarters. ... a Mohawk with his arms lifted up in prayer to the Great Spirit. The statue stands on a boulder and is quite impressive! Another little piece of history is the Little Red School House, built in 1868. The one room school stands in its original spot. Unfortunately, we weren't able to go inside, although the brochure said it was open. Still, a nice piece of Americana. Made it to Charlemont without any deaths so I guess we will continue onto Copperstown. I thought the humidity would get better going into the mountains but oh no it is just making us drenched.
