... Vermont and visited Woodstock a very neat town with heaps of beautiful old buildings. We also visited Billings Farm and Museum, a living museum of Vermont's rural past as well as a working dairy farm.
We then set out for Ludlow and got caught in a storm for a while. It was very windy and the rain came in sheets. Mike did well to keep the coach on the road.
We stayed at the Jackson Gore Hotel, a ski resort for the Okema ski field. Very nice hotel.
... Factory. It was so interesting to go through the whole process of how each portion of the rod is fabricated and assembled. The entire process takes place in this one manufacturing plant. After another big sleep in this morning, Cathy kindly offered to take us for a drive after lunch to Vermont, a state over from New York State.
We went to a little town called Bennington. Absolutely gorgeous as the trees are starting to turn to fall colours. It would be spectacular when all the trees have turned to fall colour.
