    I think Nis would have been a fine place to visit in a warmer part of the year and when we're not so run down. We're taking a bus to Pristina, Kosovo in the morning. The Serbs still don't recognize Kosovo as an independent country. It's Europe's newest country and is recognized by almost all countries except Serbia as independent. That can make for some travel complexities.

    ... He gave us a quick run down of the places to eat and things to do and very kindly called up to reserve us some bus tickets to Skopje when we mentioned we were heading there next. Top chap.     Today, Wed 5/7, we had a long bus ride from Belgrade to Kopaonik Park. The scenery quickly changed from urban to pretty, mountainous and wooded rural.
