We made it to Sacramento. The point most south of Seattle we are visiting. From now on we are working our way north. We were a little late this morning leaving at 8:45, but drove directly to our campground. Which is like a ghost town. No staff, no people. As nobody was there we decided to visit Sacramento first. So we drove to the center. Parking is a big problem here. Al parking garage take like 8 or 9 feet. We are 12.4 ft tall. But we managed to find a ...

We ended up walking round the railroad museum together, and found the 'Pony Express' statue, which was how mail used to be delivered back in the day. On entering the museum we had a cute tour by a man named Al who must have been nearly 90. I wouldn't have been surprised if he'd built half the trains in that museum! What a hero.

So clearly disgruntled I spent the day landing all new tricks, getting steezy on the rails ...

So flying out of Sacramento airport was pretty painless. Even though I showed up two hours early it was literally 5 minutes to be part security. Luckily, the imaging scanner went down right when I got to it, and was instead sent through the metal detector so the line continued moving. Iwas happy about this occurring, as I don't believe that being dosed with radiation to be ...

    Belize Wrap Up

... so the crime is there as with any city. Aside from the rough neighborhoods no safety issues were prevalent. I did feel a lot of eyes on my camera when it came out of the bag, but the burn-out expats were just as guilty as the locals for scoping things out. Laura was questioned by a local (who had admittedly spent time in prison) on the contents of her bag while in Dangriga, but no overt hostile feelings were ever ...
