From Salt Lake we headed across 80 and passed the great salt flats and then into Nevada where we stopped for the night at Rye Patch State Park – it has been a lot of years since we were able to stop here. The water is quite low in the lake, but it was that way years ago when we stopped here so we are wondering if it isn’t always low. Makes you wonder if the dam actually functions.
