... The pilot boat was then sent to recover the ball. After the evening meal some of us headed to the buffet for a chat and we remained there until the small hours. ... over the big climb and Martin shuttled to the top. He was so excited to get to take the downhill at full speed without me. He cycled on to lunch at 33.5 miles with elevation gains of 3815 ft and max speeds of 45 mph. Lunch was on the water in Playa de Mogan where we watched scuba, swimming and beach goers.
