Another short one today, as it's getting very late and I didn't really end up doing much worth writing about.
Packed up my back for the second last time, checked out of the hotel and made my way down to the station. At least the weather was better today! Managed to fit my pack into the overhead rack, which was lucky as all the luggage racks were full. Had a good trip to London - it only takes an hour and a half or so from Bath ...
I checked out the hotel after having the included buffet breakfast. The hotel stored my bags while I headed out to have one last look at London. I had found that the Old Spitalsfield Markets were within walking distance from the hotel, so I set off to explore. ... much fun! We got some tea just her and I and caught up. Obviously it's hard to catch up on 12 years of absence but it was so nice to see her. She seems like she's doing very well and is studying medicine at UCL. Her family seems really good (Henry is 6'8!). There was brief talk of going to Dublin together at some point but we'll see next time we hang out!
