... was led by Brett. A young and very knowledgable verger. Well worth the 5 pounds for a 90 minute tour. We began with the grave of the unknown soldier. He was lain to rest there on 11 November 1920 and was the last person buried in the Abbey. Next was the coronation chair which is stored near the Western entrance and moved to the front for a coronation. It takes six months to set up the Abbey for a coronation as they have to put in a lot of seating and move a lot of panels. We ...

... people can live there unless they are paid incredibly well. The tube is quite efficient for getting around the city, but I have never seen trains that small and cramped. One of my most interesting observations was the demonstration of commemoration for veterans who served in England's wars. That is something you definitely do not see much of in Paris or in any other city, so it was quite cool to see. Note to self: next time I visit London make sure it isn't on a student budget! ...

One thing I think is really cool is the 'graffiti' left by prisoners in the tower. How cool to see something someone etched into a wall hundreds of years ago...amazing how that was preserved, and the history behind those who left it.
