... grandchildren. Once we have completed our training we can come back any length of time and host again. As a couplee we need to work 25 hours a week in exchange for our site plus a pass to the Waterpark in the Regional park. Our first week we cleaned out grills and fire pits. ... When we got up and started to pack down, they were nearly ready to leave after a stay of about 6 hours. They must have had some distance to cover to only be staying that long; poor, noisy *******s. Before leaving I wandered down to the lake and had a look. There were some small fish rising at the surface which made me very excited as at the next stop, it was all on. I was going fishing!

... The pond was partially frozen and the beaver was making his way across, slipping and sliding as he went. At one point, the thin ice broke and he splashed into the water, then made his way to the edge. ... The others were covered, but way up top. I still contend that Andrea, Marshall and I had the most authentic and fun experience! We were certainly soaked to prove it! And the game was fun…even if Germany ended up winning. But in the midst of the rain and the loss, we got word that the U.S. would go through to the next round as the 2nd place team in the group, above Portugal and Ghana. ... paddle. Aunty and I sit back and relax and I even stick my foot in the cool water. John is super tired from his 20 mins of paddling (Hinesh had been paddling the whole way) so we return the boat.

We are starving for lunch and grab a bite at Thai Pavillion. We devour our food down. Uncle and Aunty had to doggie bag their pad thais as the servings were huge. We head home and again chill out before dinner.
