... find hand made ice cream and fresh exotic fruit. The sights can honestly leave you dizzy... There are so many things to look at in the labyrinth of narrow aisles filled with food stalls to shopping. You can buy everything from electronics to make up to clothing and handmade trinkets. The amount of people crammed in is also quite amazing... All moving slowly through exploring, eating, and shopping. The weather, unfortunately, was horrible. Some of the heaviest rain we have ...

... meet Karin and Mark for dinner. Son Mark joined us.Went to another restaurant where you could choose your seafood - chose some tiger prawns - delicious.
Walked through Bangla Rd on way to catch Tuk Tuk - interesting at night!,,,, Girls out in force - son Mark and Bob decided to check out the "Ping Pong" girls. Apparently a rip off ( as you would expect) -at least they have now seen ...

... waters, gorgeous scenery and beaches, pure bliss! We visited The James Bond island (**** tourist trap, featured in 'The Man with the Golden Gun) a sea gypsy village, Krabi, Railay beach (we were there super early in the morning before everyone else arrived!), couple of other random islands and Monkey Bay. My favourite was Maya Bay though. This is where scenes from the beach were shot and tourists flock from nearby islands to see this. ...

... Le Versace with the highest open-air lounge bar on Adaman Hill. The General Manager and chef de cuisine, Georges Dufresne, moved from Royal Plaza Montreux & Spa, Switzerland, to Patong Beach. He remodeled one year ago the formerly Italian restaurant in a Venetian-style luxurious restaurant lounge bar with a unique interior and is responsible for an exquisite French kitchen.
