... we had a man row us about. He also took photos of us through a heart shaped hole he'd cut into a leaf. It was very odd. When we got back, we showered and then when out with Jess to Bangla road, It has to be the sleaziest place I've ever been, you can't walk more than 3 feet without being accosted into going to a ping pong show. ... I left for India scheduled for 11th December.I'm sorry for the water of the North West in Italy and of my beloved Milan submerged by the Seveso and Lambro rivers. The water came to PortaGaribal and Isola, the district 2 km from my home in Milan China town.Best wishes to all Italians who suffer this infinte discomfort and I hope that these rains will decide to end soon.

... maneuvered itself, and us, up and down a very rough track. At one point, the mahout exclaimed " oh my Buddha" which roughly translates to " oh my God!" as the elephant left the designated track and went cross country down the gully. Once we reached the bottom, the mahout jumped off and offered us the chance to sit forward and "ride" the elephant.
