We got a Tuk Tuk to the snake farm, which cost us 300 baht return, so 3 pounds each for there and back, which isn't bad at all, because it was a fair distance and we were stuck in quite a bit of traffic. We did contemplate a moped, for about 20 seconds, until we saw the amount of injured people in thailand from falling off them - so that idea soon passed. The journey to Phuket! God was it a long one. We left our accomodation at 6:20 am, our guide, Chesca and Shanai came out to say bye and wave us off which was really nice. It was an awful trip home, as it was on the way to Phi Phi island... Several of ...

... bay and I can see the wall of water coming towards us rippling the surface of the water. Right before it hits the wind picks up hard. All the boats in the bay are forced in the same direction and rocking and swaying hard in the waves. The wind created huge waves where the sea was moments ago calm. "We are supposed to leave in 10 minutes", I say. Cody asks if they will make us. "I can't imagine it's safe to come to the dock", I reply. But we both see a boat coming ...

The skandhas

... I lumped him in the "like" third. He got really drunk one night and wouldn't stop accosting me about how America was not only destroying it's own middle class through under-taxation of the wealthy and other stupid policies, but encouraging the rest of the world to do the same. The world was suffering because of our actions and we had to stop the madness. I needed to personally do more to fix the situation. It was ...
