We drove through all the roads, got out and walked among the "what would have been" spectacular azalea gardens, and went to the museum and the greenhouses, saw a bird show, the butterfly gardens, the Victory Garden South, and Mr. Cason's Garden; and made a full day of it anyway.
Definitely worth another stop at a better time of ...

Callaway Gardens is huge. We drove our vehicle to see the many sights. We visited the chapel, the horticulture center, the vegetable garden, and other sights. We walked 4.5 miles today. We were very tired.
... Plaques lie within the bricks in different locations on the sidewalk, each plaque commemorating a show or movie filmed in Senoia. Other shows included Gordy, Sweet Home Alabama, Fried Green Tomatoes, Footloose (2011), and Drop Dead Diva. We took pictures of a few of the plaques and then entered the shop. The cashier was busy helping a customer but Jessica had to use the restroom (I believe she was on her seventh Coke of the day) and was directed back outside ...
