Leaving the Tiger Leaping Gorge we took a bus down south to the city of Lijiang, a UNESCO world cultural heritage site famous for its architecture and Venice-like channels (yes again after Suzhou ;-)), but apparently also a major tourist destination. Yunnan # 6 The Drive Back To Dali
A few photos in Lijiang and then the long ride back to Dali to spend another day before driving back to Kunming to get the plane to Beijing. A lot of time in the van, but we went on the cheap and you get what you pay for :-). I'm not complaining, but a little less time in the van would have been nice.
