... were a few remnants of Australia's Americas Cup win in 1983, which was pleasing, including an Australian milk bar, replete with hot pies and all.

Otherwise Newport was quaint in the way of all New England towns and was similar to villages in the UK of the same vintage (Newport is celebrating its 375th birthday this year!).

I would have thought that a fat white guy would have been the target market in these parts though in this place I was treated as if I had three heads, maybe they were pirates and they could spot the landlubber, either way it was a most unfriendly place.

After taking a wrong turn and having to drive around downtown Boston, we ended up on the wrong portion of the highway that goes under Boston. That was probably a good thing actually since that part of the tunnel isn't tall enough for us to fit into it with Klyed. Trying to get over to the CORRECT portion was a white knuckled ride that scared not only us, but everyone else in the ...

The walk to the ferry was on everyone's mind. Whyyyy! We got brekky and headed back to Chappy.
We got the ferry and couldn't be bothered walking so we hitchhiked home. Ridiculously lazy as the walk is literally 300m. I had a little further to go as I'd moved house, so the nice guy in his range rover, dropped me at my door. I napped and accidentally slept through my plans to go to the beach. ...
