Otherwise Newport was quaint in the way of all New England towns and was similar to villages in the UK of the same vintage (Newport is celebrating its 375th birthday this year!).
So the breakdown of New England;
1. Best state - Maine
2. Best city - Boston
3. Ideal holiday destination - Cape Cod

The walk to the ferry was on everyone's mind. Whyyyy! We got brekky and headed back to Chappy.
We got the ferry and couldn't be bothered walking so we hitchhiked home. Ridiculously lazy as the walk is literally 300m.
