      ... darkness of the night, and made pretty patterns of light on the white walls of my cabin. Finally I heard Jacques, right on schedule.... Making his rounds..... I rolled over, and was asleep in a matter of moments. Breakfast at 8:00. My normal orange presse, and cappuccino tasted especially good.... Because we had made it safely through the night. The cool breeze an sound of rushing water was wonderful. 40mins in and about an hour to go, the kids were mounting a mutiny to turn back, but in the end dug deep to do the back half of the big climb. The overgrown ruins looked stunning in the doppled shade and we had some time down near the base of a small waterfall. The view back toward the ocean showed the little town of Amalfi wedged tightly into the green valley the dark blue of the Mediterranean laying in the background. ...

      ... when you travel things get lost in translation and we end up at Agerola, hey it only adds another 2klm to our 10klm walk.

      This is memorable experience I'll let the photos do the talking.

      The only additions worth mentioning are the 3400 stairs that lead down from Nocelle to Positano, calf smashers and the most expensive but visually stunning taxi ride from Positano to Conca Dei Marina.
