So...where did I leave off...ah, for the record - littlest cousin's talk at school was fantastic, left the other kids for dead. Had some more great meals, (one of which centred around reuniting with my Great Uncle and Aunt, who's place I am in now) watched medium cousin (Cyrus) play a bit of basketball for his school - quite the sports star, had...

Over 26 hours of driving and finally we got home at 11:40 pm on Saturday! Exhausted but glad to get here . Thanks everyone who talk to us during that time. We appreciated your concerns. It was tough but we are home safe and sound.
We made more than 4000 miles during the trip!
And IT WAS AMAZING!!!

Just spoke to Julie. I couldn't join her today. She walked for 3 hours. I think she earned that glass of wine we're going to have at 6. O'clock or number of glasses? I forgot to clarify.
Our journey began on Sunday. We did our first 6 miles, drove to Andover to shop at Whole Foods and got on a road lined with pizza shops and chain resta...

1. Cook dinner for a Swedish family
2. Get inv...

We have been here 3 weeks now and are stuck here until a cargo is found for us; although we will soon need bunkers (fuel) so may go back into Boston at some point. We are at anchor near a group of ...

Once again awoke hopeful at 3.30, but a quick peek out the window confirmed that it was still rainy and foggy, and definitely not worth another trip up the mountain – shame, we'll have to catch an Atlantic sunrise somewhere else (as we head further west but stay on Eastern time it will, at least, be slightly later!) The plan for today was...
Portsmouth, New Hampshire, United States rachnharryAfter our busy few days in New York, we decided to meander our way back home to Canada slowly, stopping to visit friends along the way. Our first stop was the bustling metropolis of Derry, New Hampshire, home to Dan's foster sister, Christine, and her family. We caught a cheap and fabulous bus from downtown New York, thoroughly enjoying the free...

Portsmouth, New Hampshire, United States sailingglennOh boy-- I have been wanting to go to this place since the first time I heard its name a year or two ago. FINALLY we went this Sunday! Yow!!!
