Last week there was snow on the mountains and the views from the house were fantastic. Also had some brilliant sunsets here as well.

Time to fill, off work for the week before David's wedding and I needed to find something to do. Why not try that mountain I had said I would do 18 months ago. Skiddaw. ... the little village we immediately started exploring. Adorable little shops and cafe's set the foreground for the rolling mountains and misty trees behind them. Bright flowers lined the streets, bridges crossed over little rivers, and sheep wandered in the open fields.
